Neil Groberg and Mediation
Neil Groberg's career is dedicated to facilitating the resolution of disputes before they generate into litigation. With his understanding of the adverse impact litigation has on both employers and employees, it was only inevitable that he become a mediator and arbitrator.
While Neil still provides advocacy counseling dedicated to collaboration and facilitation of disputes, he also encourages parties to hire him as a neutral mediator, facilitator or arbitrator. He has extensive training and experience in "alternative dispute resolution" (ADR) both as an advocate, neutral facilitator, mediator and arbitrator.

Neil has successfully resolved many disputes that were already in—or bound—for litigation. He has, for example, been:
- A mediator for EEOC’s "RESOLVE" Program and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
- An arbitrator on behalf of the Better Business Bureau
- A facilitator (where he served as a mediator and arbitrator rolled into one) between the State of Connecticut and one of its major unions
In addition to his real world experience in mediation, Neil has superior training in the field. For example,
- He is a Certified Arbitrator by the Council of Better Business Bureau
- Neil has a Mediation Certificate from the University of Connecticut Labor Education Center
- He has completed Arbitration Training from the Alliance for Education in Dispute Resolution under the auspices of Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations
- He also has advanced training on mediating workplace disputes
Neil is a member of several mediation/ADR panels and organizations including:
- The Alliance for Education and Dispute Resolution
- The American Health Lawyers Association
- The Better Business Bureau
- The Connecticut Bar Association Committee on the Resolution of Legal Fee Disputes

Neil is also the Connecticut Faculty Member of Resolve It, Inc. a New York-based employment and labor relations training and education-consulting company with a motto of "education not litigation."
